What is Prince John Robin Hood’s Story?
Prince John Robin Hood is a legendary figure in English folklore and mythology. He is the son of King John and the twin brother of Prince Will Scarlet. He is best known for his role in the legend of Robin Hood, which tells the story of an outlaw who steals from the rich to give to the poor.
According to legend, Prince John was a greedy and selfish ruler who was despised by his subjects. In response, they formed an alliance with the sheriff of Nottinghamshire, Sir Robert Loxley, to rob Prince John’s treasury and bring him to justice.
Prince John’s true identity was eventually revealed when he left behind his royal insignia on a tree while fleeing. The people of Nottingham were so angry at Prince John that they hanged him from the tree without trial.

Prince John Robin Hood was allegedly a fictional character created by the English author, William Golding, in his novel “The Lord of the Rings”. However, many people believe that he is based on a real person who lived in the 12th century.
Golding apparently based Prince John Robin Hood on a real person named “Roger de Berkeley”. Berkeley was a nobleman who was outlawed from England for his involvement in the civil war between King John and his barons.
After years of hiding out in France, Berkeley returned to England in 1176 and assumed the identity of Robinhood. According to legend, he robbed from the rich and gave to the poor, which made him an icon of resistance against unjust authority.
Many historians believe that Prince John Robin Hood probably never existed as a character in reality, but was instead an amalgamation of several real people who fought against feudalism and lording it over their fellow man.
Regardless of his true origins, Prince John Robinhood is one of history’s most celebrated anti-heroes and continues to be popular with audiences around the world.
